
Dave Wilson
Associate Research Fellow
Before entering Academia Dave spent 11 years developing large Information Systems in various Department's of the UK Central Government during which time he worked on some pioneering projects, passed the BCS Part 1 Examinations at one sitting and gained the LSE's PgD in Information Systems Analysis & Design. He holds a PhD from Warwick University (WBS). He taught Computing and Information Systems at Hong Kong Polytechnic and Buckinghamshire College before joining Birkbeck in 1996. His research interests are in Strategy and Maturity in Information Systems with particular interest in Cross-cultural issues in IS, Globalism and IS Career Development.
