Dr. Hideyuki Matsumoto

Having completed his PhD in the Department whilst acting as the CIO for Mitsubishi Finance's London operation, Dr. Hideyuki Matsumoto has pursued an illustrious career firstly with the London (UMEA) division of Nomura Research Institute and latterly in Tokyo with Deloite Tomahtsu to the age of normal retirement in Japan.

He currently directs the Japan Association for Information Systems, an affiliate of the global Association for Information Systems. From this year he has accepted positions as Consulting Fellow of the Japanese Government's Research Institute of Economy, Industry and Trade; Visiting Professor, the Graduate School of Economics, Soka University; and Visiting Professor at Japan's Professional Graduate School of Project Design.
