Andrew & Kathleen Booth Lecture

Up to 2016, the Andrew Booth Memorial Lecture was delivered annually by a distinguished computer scientist to commemorate Professor Andrew Booth's work in creating some of the world’s first electronic computers at Birkbeck and also his pioneering research into machine translation. From 2017, the annual Andrew & Kathleen Booth Lecture will honour also Kathleen Booth's work on designing and programming these early computers.
